Incubator of ouchies.

What a long weekend - but Thanksgiving weekend was out to get me. I had a great week - the inlaws visited us in Florida and we all had so much fun. Then Mr. D and I drove back to Mayberry MS so that he could spend the weekend with his family. I however had to return back to Florida for work. However Wednesday night - the epic plague of ouchies began. First, while on the phone with my dad, I stepped outside on the stoop at my inlaws house to sit and have a quiet phone call - since it was rather late and I didn't want to disturb anyone - I ended up falling down the stairs and slightly twisted my ankle. Ouch!

Once I arrived home to discover my dad and ms. Kim were there! for a wonderful Korean style Thanksgiving dinner! It was fantastic! Good food to soothe over achiness from travels and ankles. :O) And we have enough egg rolls and thapthai to last us for a month. (ms. kim - i know thats probably not how I spell that, haha) We all had a good time and they left on Friday morning.

It was so good to see them... Later that day on Friday and speaking of seeing, my eye kept watering and it felt like I had a boulder wedged inside. Along with the pounding head and stuffy nose. Oh no.... Not a cold! That Friday night, I was down with a full fledged achy cold and not only that - but a bulbous nasty stye in my eye. Oh wonderful!? What next? So I've spent all weekend trying to get some rest and fighting off this nasty cold. So for those who have been wondering where I have been or why I've been so quiet.... that is why.. I've been an incubator of the ouchies. :O(

Sadly, I'm not the only one. All this week there all so many others coming thru the shop doors with the same nasty cold. I can only sympathise with them. I completely know how they feel. Ah.... winter has arrived. Ahhchooo!
